A lot of things happen when fashion meets make up. The glorious chaotic symphony that is the combined personalities of myself and the make up guru extraordinaire, Andrea Claire, is such an example of what happens when the both worlds combine. Unfortunately, you can't have us to keep. What you can bag is the wicked new collection by The Body Shop - Brush With Fashion.
For Spring 2011, The Body Shop launches the Brush With Fashion Collection made up of cruelty-free, fashion forward make-up and accessories collection with scene-stealing packaging created in collaboration with the London College of Fashion.
What I love most about the collection, aside from how pretty it looks, is how all-encompassing the products are. They all come with brushes, the compacts with brushes and little eye pencils and mirrors, making application in a cab when you're on your way to work easy peasy.
I got the package from the very supportive people from Word of Mouth Communications & The Body Shop just as I was leaving home so I got a few photos:
Wearing: Coral lace dress by ASOS.
On my face: The Body Shop's Illuminating Face Base [$29.90] that gives you a nice glow; The Body Shop's Tailored Cheek Tint [$19.90] that transform into a rosy glow once in contact with skin [I LOVE cheek tints!]; and Hi-Shine Lip Treatment which I took with me:
Super glossy, and non-sticky, I think this might be my new favourite lip gloss. It helps that it smells so bloody yummy.
And of course, to top off all the glitterati fashiony shebang in this post, you need a ride to go with it too, no?
The Body Shop's Brush With Fashion limited edition collection hits stores 15 Feb!
